For multi-unit turnovers, where several apartments get cleared at once, a 30 yard usually makes sense. Its walls are 6 feet tall, so the crew walks things in through the rear door instead of lifting them over the side. For a single unit, a 15 or 20 yard is normally enough.
Ask about placement before the day. Parking lots belong to the property or the association, and a container in a fire lane or blocking a dumpster enclosure creates a problem for everyone. Tell us where the spot is and how the truck gets to it.

Carpet tile, drywall, and old fixtures add up in weight. If the job includes tile floors or plaster walls, tell us so we can match the size to the weight allowance, not just the space.

Placement at a business
The 30 yard is 18 feet long, and the truck needs a straight run in front of it to roll it off, plus clear space overhead. As a general guide, figure on 50 to 60 feet of straight approach and nothing low above the spot: no tree limbs, wires, or signs.
If the container has to sit on a public street instead of your lot, it needs a permit. On county roads that is the Montgomery County Department of Permitting Services, which says to allow one to two weeks. Rockville, Gaithersburg, and the other incorporated towns issue their own. Permits are the customer's responsibility, but we are happy to tell you what we have seen work at similar sites.

Can you swap a full container for an empty one?
Yes. Call when the container is close to full and we will schedule a swap so the job keeps moving.
How do businesses pay?
By card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We do not take checks or money orders.
Do you remove the junk for us?
No. We deliver the container and haul it away. Your staff or your crew does the loading. That is also why a roll off usually costs less than a full-service junk removal crew on a large job.

How renting a dumpster from us works
Clear a spot.
You do not have to be home for delivery. Move cars out of the way and make sure nothing is hanging low over the spot, like tree limbs or wires.
Fill it.
Load at your own pace during the rental period. Keep everything below the top rail so the driver can cover and haul it.
Call for pickup.
We do not pick up automatically. Let us know on or before your last rental day and we come get it. Each extra day after that is $10.
